Definitely worth a read, also worth looking through some of the other stuff on Land Rover Live!

They wrote an excellent book about it, called first overland. Also available as an audio book narrated by a couple of the guys that went.

Great story.

Barbara Toy did more, earlier and on her own.....and was still doing it at 80 odd year old. Not bad for a mere woman! After you have looked her up find Group Captain Peter Townsend's book, also a good travel read.
