So double height hippo ramps will be called disco ramps...
Still can't believe a clutch, wheel bearing and tyres would effectively "write off" a freelander.
I guess garage labour must be expensive.....I just never pay anyone to fix my cars,
All down to poor servicing, eh Nodge ?
But you had done everyfing...... And if you asked I am sure people have good part worn tyres and wheels available because they have upgraded their wheels
Clutches can be done on the driveway with just a trolley jack a stout peice of wood or a length of 2 1/2" box section to straddle the wing tops a couple of straps and an extra pair of hands.
The disco has arrived! wish id have bought it a long time ago. Goes to show proof there is no such thing as a bad landy!. Poorly maintained and annoying ones yes but definatley not Bad. I get the funny feeling that's me totally hooked on landys now.
have to go out in the cold to have a smoke!
