Textar brake pads query

I've just bought a set of new discs and textsr pads the question is the pads only have a tapered edge on one side of the pad does it go to the top or bottom of the calliper its a td4 Freelander 05 reg cheers

I'd fit them with the chamfer as the leading edge.
