TDI air flow meter on a V8?

How do everyone,
Like what it says in the title just wanted to know if the TDI air flow meter will work on a V8.I dont see why not because it just reads how much is coming in (i think) any advice would be great.

No, I don't think that will work because the air volumes will be totally different for the respective mapping; I suspect the output voltages will be different. Effectively, the injection systems are not compatible. Can't say I ever heard of anybody using the diesel AFM on a V8. I could be wrong and would be interested to learn if it is possible.

Good point i thought it just read the amount of air going in. i dont think will bother.

Tdi's don't have air flow metres, do you mean Td5 ? If so it still won't work.

late tsi autos did and use a totaly different loom conector for one and were a flapper design!
don't buy patern to save monsy as they are cheap and crap
