TD6 mpg V LPG 4.4 MPG

Ok so as some of you know in looking into changing from P38 to L322. Now what I'd like to know is what mpg you get from the TD6 and 4.4 on LPG. I only do around 4k a year, but I do tow a caravan. If the difference is minimal then I'll just look for the best car i can afford regardless of engine. I know both engines/gearboxes have their faults but that's life I guess.

My 4.4 V8 returns 15.1mpg on LPG with a good mix of road and traffic conditions.

My td6 happily runs around town doing 22mpg

On a 2 hour motorway run it reaches up to 27mpg

+1 actually 14.3 on mine but mostly local, at the mo im paying 60p per ltr of lpg

He's a good driver, seen 9.4/9.5 litres per 100 km on the dash on a run, 9.4 = 30mpg. About the same as the P38 on a run

My td6 on a run touches 30mpg nursing it ( that's actual figure, it reads 32mpg on the computer)
Daily driving, combined does 23/24 (reads 26mpg on computer)

mine is the same and been maped and de egr'd

mine (td6) averages 24mpg (calculated) fill up to fill up on a decent run it can hit 28mpg.

My TD6 averaged 25 MPG over 4 years (actual) and i get 17+ on my 4.4 V8 petrol LPG which equates to 28+ MPG. Better sound, better performance. Both BMW engines are bombproof but the TD6 gearbox is "chocolate" and towing could bring on more probs?

4.4 V8 between 12 and 20mpg depending on type of journey.

Averages around 16
