can belt be fitted without removing fan?

all fixed and homeward bound.

I'm home now and @Huntinghicap is on his way too with a new fan belt. Oh and I'm currently enjoying the bottle of red he kindly bought me

Once again would like to take the chance to thank all concerned for the assistance this weekend, whilst also in shock at the devastating situation that has happened to a member. Our slight inconvenience pales into insignificance in comparison, however I am truly very grateful to this forum and especially @Headtester for the rapid assistance we experienced. I am based in West Sussex, not far from Gatwick, if I can be of any help to anyone else in this regard please let me know. I believe I am on the LZIR map already.
