This is not the usual plee for help with the aforementioned problems, just a thread to try to guide others with a similar affliction.
( and I didn't want to tag it onto the end of an old and long thread of the same title ! ).
No big deal really.
My 2002 TD5 disco developed a misfire/lack of power. After a bit of head scratching and LZ searches I discovered that the in tank pump wasn't running. I checked the plug for 12 volts, and separately the ground feed and both were OK.
Fitted a new pump, ( 195 plus vat ), bingo, back to normal.
I know this is all pretty simple stuff, but I fixed something, and I,m telling you how.
I hope when this tread comes up in a search, it helps someone !.( and thanks to all the folk who post fixes they find ).
