Hi all
I'm still relatively new to the TD5 but after sorting out my factory Spot Light Relay problem, I found a loose black box tucked behind the engine bay fuse box with 'Power Box' and www.powerbox.cc etched into it.
I figure this to be some kind of Power/Torque plug-in and a contributing factor to poor MPG returns. I have been experiencing 23-27MPG. Can I simply remove the connector to this unit and bag/seal the loom or do I have to go far a complete removal? If its the latter, how would this have been connected, what to, would this be easy to remove and its second hand value?
Also, would it be worth removal if the MPG figures above are 'normal' for a TD5 on an auto box? I was toying with the idea of a Stage 1 Tune via TD5 Alive that would eradicate this plug-in. Any thoughts please?
Many thanks for your help.
