Took the wifes Disco out at the weekend and noticed it surging/lurching on part throttle particularly when slowing after periods at higher speed.
Symptoms stop if you accelerate or let it overrun, noticeably worse if the cruise control tries to hold a constant speed on the flat or over the brow of a hill.
If you don't vary the throttle opening it can get quite violent.
Anybody got any ideas?
I thought it might be a misfire due to oil in the ECU I have given the plugs a good clean but there is still oil in the loom. Garage who serviced it said they had fitted a mod that stops oil entering but I may have problems with oil already in there.
Only other things I can think of might be fuel (had a new regulator fitted a while ago) or gearbox
