TD5 intermittent rough idling

15P engine.
92453 kms

Two weeks ago did the injectors and washers no problem.
Did all the bits and bobs, primed it, started straight away! ...................Only

For some unknown reason, when it goes back to idle, for about 20 or 30 second it runs a bit rough, and then settles
down again.....
It drives fine, as normal.
Checked the pump, fuel filter and non return filter in housing, changed FPR, checked throttle pot, ambient sensor, crank
sensor........
Put Hawkeye on, nothing shows up...

For my own sanity I had the injectors checked at a local Deplhi agent, all injectors passed as OK.

For once..... I'm absolutely stumped

Any one else had this perhaps ??

You could try a new injector harness, have you checked the ECU plug for oil.

It's got e new harness, first thing I checked

May have a bad socket connection on one of the injectors. Try pulling them off and cleaning them and refitting them. Were all the injectors put back in the same place you removed them from as they are coded to each pot. Basic I know but worth mentioning.

I cleaned them all out, several times , new loom as well.
Seems really strange, as before I did the washers and seals it was running fine, other than
the oil level creeping up ....
The strange thing is, it doesn't do it all the time, just from say 7 out of 10 times ?
I will check the wiring of the loom going to the ECU, in case perhaps it has "chafed" somewhere?
