Hi...
Been having trouble the last few days with starting.
Ive lost my glow plug light for some time but not had problems with starting.
Now its colder this has been more of a pain to get her going.
I swapped out my glow plugs for new today thinking I might see my glow light come on again. No light
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

The glow plug light is managed by the engine ECU only based on coolant temp sensor's reading, it should come on when it's cold even if you remove the glow plug relay, it has no connection with the plugs at all, was your car plugged into a tester befoire you lost them or replaced the BCU?...cos then it might be set to petrol and that's the reason... you should plug in a tester and see the settings in the BCU then you can check the light by triggering it for test as well

No it isnt, but the glow plug warning works on the same principle... and as you posted on the Td5 section without mentioning what it is i just presumed it's a D2 cos i missed the pic in your avatar
