Hello Land rover lovers...


here is my story , i recently purchased a td5 engine with all its wiring and ecus , one small problem is the key...
it has an immobilizer system that cannot be bypassed as i've read in the forum.
i want to user the engine in a defender 110...

can anyone help me how to get a key or anyway of bypassing or turning on the engine?

Unfortunately nobody on here will tell you how to do it as this is your first post so you are not known from adam and also it's a public forum and so viewable by undesireables.

Have you thought about approaching a tuning company, auto locksmith or ecu repair company and either asking em to turn off the alarm/immobiliser or programme a key for you?

Ive heard if you travel to a certain part of the midlands you can find a large tree like object, more of a giant beanstalk.

Whence located you must attempt to climb the tree/beanstalk to the very top. Where you will be met by a rather large and furious gentlemen who if you defeat/sneak past will enable to to obtain what people call

'Magic beans' or a 'golden goose'

Repeat the above process in reverse to get back down and you should be fine.

That should help you start a Td5
