Take the cam cover off. Turn on the ignition so that the fuel pump pressurises the fuel system but do not start the engine or you'll have sump oil everywhere. Sometimes you can see the fuel spurting or leaking past the injector O rings. If no sign of this then its likely the head has become porous.

I ran my old engine like this by sucking out the excess oil via the dipstick tube for nearly two years and 20k miles before it went bang when the oil pump sprocket came loose. I use a brake bleed vacuum gun and cut the piece of hosing to the same length as the dipstick so it was quick and easy to suck out the right amount of fuel/oil mix which went straight back into the fuel tank for recycling.

Ultimately though the engine is doomed unless you can fix the leak or change the head. Surprisingly the bottom end of my fragged engine was in perfect condition despite running with fuel in the oil for so long. Shells and crank showed no signs of excessive wear.
