I retrofitted the standard cruise control mod to my manual TD5 diesel and it has never worked. I eventually took it to my local garage this morning and stayed with him while he checked it out with his test book. Everything checked out ok ie: brake switches, dash switches etc etc. but nothing untoward showed up. There didn't seem to be the facility to enable / disable cruise control on the ecm screen. Is this the case? anyone any ideas please?
