Hi folks. I have been lurking in the background for a while ... enjoying many hours of reading about the interesting journey that Land Rover ownership is Also, I have to say thanks for the wealth of knowledge and experience that is shared on LandyZone. Now finally I have to make my first post and would appreciate to hear a couple of opinions about the following.
I was planning to replace the coolant in a 110 TD5 over the weekend. I removed the front plastic grill and to my shock discovered water droplets on two different sections on the intercooler fins. The rest of the intercooler was bone dry, except these two sections. To make matters more confusing, I have not had any cooling problems and not seen any noteworthy coolant loss. In the end I decided against flushing the system until I figured out if there is an actual leak or not. From what I have read on the forums cooling problems is normally associated with a clear leak or loss of coolant. Whats the best way to determine if there is a leak or not pressure test?
Cheers
