td5 beeps twice

Hi, when i start my td5 it sometimes ( every 4th or 5th start) beeps twice with no warning lights or any apparent fault. Seat belt is fastened all doors closed,

just wondering if there is an audible alarm on the td5 for any faults.

yes its the same beep noise, but i have made sure all doors are shut, i supose there could be a fault on the door sensor,but then would it beep constantly.

mine only makes this noise if i allow the glow plugs to warm fully before starting.
if i turn the key immediately without the glow plug light going out first, the noise does not happen.

Does it start up and run?

If so, be grateful, ignore the beeps, and drive off into the sunset!

thanks for all your help, apparently its a system check on the ABS.

the system check on the ABS can be felt through the brake pedal... to be sure!
