hi all, my missus car has had a slight oil leak for the last 2 MOTs so she booked it into a freelander specialist around the corner for £62 an hour : /
turned out that it was only the rocker cover gasket which took a total of 5 hours more or less-only charged for 2 at least.
since having the gasket changed, the car develop an air leak that came from the big hose under the airbox detaching itself all by itself for the first time in 2 years..ahem.
a week later and it is doing something similar even though the detached hose was reconnected. am now getting a rasping sound which i think is coming from the shielded smaller hose under the airbox-the one that rubs on the steering rack...? can anyone tell me what this hose it?
