Hi all,
i could do with a bit of advice please as to the reason why my TD4 has lost all its power and started to through out black smoke. I have found one split pipe (the large one at the front right of the engine bay which comes out of the egr unit and bends 90 degrees) i have taped it up and sealed the split for now.This seems to have sorted the problem. Could this pipe have caused the prob or should i be looking else where ?
As i need the truck for work and am self employed i cant afford for it to be off the road.
