TD4 Gearbox issues

Possibly the same thing yes land rover quoted it to me as the sump. And if your interested to buy just the sump/solenoid cover pan from them they are over £700

Around 9 years ago they were something like £45 each. TJB500010. A number of sites have them at £720+vat which is daft. I've got 4. Am rich. The true cost er br*xit...

Time to get them cashed in.

It's very unusual for the Jatco sump to rust through, as it's well protected from road spray by the sump guard.

It's more common for the driveshaft oil seals to leak.

The auto fluid change busy period is normally over Christmas. Eye thought it were a bit quiet this year.
