Hi I need to change the fuel filter on my dads 02 td4, I can see the filter is under the fuse box in engine bay but I can't see how to remove and change this could someone please give me a bit of advice on this,
Thanks

You should be able to see a screw head between the fuel pump and the fuel filter, this holds the unit on to the side of the engine bay, slacken this screw, and tilt the assembly towards you and out, disconnect the power plug and the fuel inlet and outlet pipes from the filter head, and you can then lift the filter from the support assembly. Have rags handy to catch the small amount of fuel which will run out when you disconnect the 2 pipes. Unscrew the top from the old filter, put some clean oil on the rubber seals on the new filter and screw the head back on to it, pop it back in the holder, slot the assembly back in to place under the fuse box, and put the screw back in place. Start her up, check for leaks and that's it :D

There's a screw at the top inbetween the primer and the filter. Unscrew it and the whole filter housing will slide upwards and come away. Then take the appropriate pipes off and replace the filter (it may be stiff to come out and if it is you can take the whole housing off and knock the filter out from the bottom.
