hi all,
I have a 2003 td4,
talking to a neighbour about our great cars,he popped his bonnet and he has a engine soundcover on he td4,
is this standard for my year,
because I don't have one

From my woes regarding injectors I would have the cover on , any water getting near those horrible impossible to remove common rail rejectors will leave them so tight you will cry with frustration

The injectors seem to get stuck from the inside, because of the built-up carbon. Seems to me that the way to remove such stuck injectors is to take off the head and clean things that way whereafter they 'should' come out ??

Thats after you've smashed the rocker cover off first!!
Had a few like this and the only way I've found is to replace the head, if they're stuck that bad, you'll never get 'em out

yep Im finding that out, but... car has done 105K rocker cover £235 injectors £160 pressing them out £40 each = £1035, that doesnt inc labour!!! or head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
any one got a rear end smashed freelander td4 for sale?
