Freelander 1 TD4 Auto Gearbox modes (3) & Injector Firing

Hello

Can anyone confirm if the 'sports mode' Auto gearbox on a TD4 , causes the injectors to work harder?

Bit like that when you connect the Synergy 2 rover ron box?

Been using 'sports mode' for the first time since I bought the car and the injectors retaining plates have worked themsleves loose.

Is this normal?

Nope. Auto box ECU simply selects different shift points, nothing more.
