TD% Waste Gate

Just been searching threads regarding misfires and read about waste gate arm moving when engine reved. how much movement should I see.

None.Wastegate only moves when engine under load.You should be able to move it manually by gripping it and pulling it towards front of engine.It does not move easy though.

When it does move it's notalot .. and when you consider that all the 'mods' sugesting shortening it suggest moving it at max 1/4 turn at a time, it's pretty obviously not something to dive into all ham-fisted.

If you're having a misfire I'd look elsewhere first, wastegate rod isn't something that goes out of adjustment easily.

I'd start with fuel and air supply/movement ..
