Hope I will be able to make sense here.....
After replacing the old swivel ball housings, I took the Defender for a drive. When reaching approx 55 kmh (35 mph?) the TC lamp turned on, and the engine stalled/lost RPM. There is also some problems with the ABS light, it stayed on for a while when driving, turned off and so on.. As soon as the speed got under 50 kmh, all was good again. Stopped, had a look around the car, drove off and reaching 55 kmh TC light got on, motor stalled got under 50 kmh and all was good. Did this several times just to make sure of...well, just to drive while thinking what the hell this was. Driven quite a bit, realized I had no clue what this is, went home to do the only sensible thing: to adress this forum and see if someone here got an idea what is going on

In advance, thanx for the help

Some friends of mine has also been helping out, and we believe that all is fitted as it should. But then again we are no experts, and we apparently have done something wrong in the process.

Removed fuse to the ABS/TC, and there was no issues while driving 80 kmh. I just cant see the logic in the fact that it stalls at 50-55 kmh. Is it possible to have inserted the wheelbearing the wrong way, or swapped the inner one with outer?
