Tank sender

Hi all .got a new in tank pump/sender.from what i though one o the better names/suppliers.ha gauge never read full when full and now reads what it pleases.when it pleases /wish id kept the old one.....anyhow pump works fine.so .the supplier wants me to buy another ,send back the first one /for inspection/ ye right .my point to this is could it be the my ECU. Never went wrong before i changed it. Do i need to reset it in someway .(rant over thanks

Its a 2.5 dse 2000 ..it was on here but its changed /just a little /Starting to work it out.....thanks

Did you get a cheap one? You get what you pay for. Would think the arm has been bent and there is a poor contact on the wiper.
