Hello all

Im around 6.4 ,and my 90s not the biggest , is there any way of improving leg room with out cutting the bulkhead to fit them seat risers ? , do any other seats give greater legroom ? Thanks

Defender seats are'nt too bad you can fit Mud rails which raise the seat by 1 to 2 inches this helps. failing that I have seen woodon packers used andx when suitably comfortable they have made metalo box section seat rails.

You can gain about 2 to 3 inches of depth in the seat b y raising them above the edge on the tub/seat box

Bulkhead removal bar would be good, I would get one, if I didn't have stereo speakers on mine

I'm 6'10" and thinking about mud rails but while they extend leg room they raise you up 3cms too. So I'm looking at eating into the box a little... Although I'd prefer a "non surgical" solution.

At 6' 5" and fairly rotund - Mud rails worked for me - combined with a new smaller steering wheel. A lot less hassle than getting your legs shortened or indeed dieting!

if you have a truck cab, then any other body will give you more room :) I had a series 3 truck cab, and that was a struggle to get in to for me, and I'm only 6'2" :) Plenty of room in my 90 hard top though!

With the mud rails moving the seat further back does that mean you will be sitting more upright as the back of the seat cant recline as much?

I see mud rails need to be used in conjunction with the bulkhead removal kit. But my 90 is a 2011 model, so how does one deal with the "bulkhead"?

I am 7'4" tall and cannot even get into my garage, far less my Landy but I find my height reduces when I take the Elton John style platform shoes off. Then I am only 6'2".
