Tail Window (again)

Done the usual seaches but still cant find out - today my tail window started playing up.

pressing the rear handle releases the door and the window drops about 1-2mm, not enough to clear the channel.

The dash button works fine in both directions.

The cables in the rear door are ok.

I've done the re-calibration.

With a bit of wiggling i can get the glass from under the channel and a light push on top of the glass moves it down a bit, then when closing it goes up as normal.

The keyswitch in the rear door works as normal

any ideas peeps - is this a sticky cable, relay etc

Hello Daz,

Grease the plastic holders/ runners for the glass (you will have to remove the
rear door panel.

One other point the two bolts holding the window mech, at the bottom are adjustable position fittings, and alter the angle of the window as it moves, you may have to have a play to get the correct top position (so it fits neat in the to rubber channel)

cheers for that, i'll give it a go when it stop raining

Daz - we are both in the same boat mate. Mind If I sit here and grab the rudder? How did you get on with your window? Any fixes?
