tail gate lock cylinder

I am replacing the tail gate door handle on my Freelander after some numpty decided it would look better broken off. How do i relocate the lock cylinder as it looks to be integral to the handle it's self.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as i need this done asap for my MOT.

If you pull the the rubber off the back it becomes obvious. Pair of pliers and it pops out nicely .

Oh and be careful re-fitting it, the nuts have a nasty habit of jumping down inside the door. I managed to lose one somewhere in the door, found one the right size in a box of nuts/bolts in the garage which wasn't too bad.
