Synergy remote switch location

Hi all - sorry for this as I know it's been answered before but I cannot find it using my iPhone.

The remote switch for the Synergy - where are people bring inning it through the bulkhead? And where are you mounting it after.

Just had mine upgraded and need to fit the switch.

I thought I had found it but it may have been for V6 mines a TD4

Done it - pushed it through the bonnet release cable grommet

I found a big rubber bung - below and to the right of the servo - went through there and came out behind the carpet around where the clutch pedal would be on a manual.

Dead easy to feed up to where I stuck it on the right hand edge of the centre console.

I don't know if you'll have enough length of cable left to get there now though.

I was a bit sceptical about the sticky pad idea so used double sided tape which was a good bit thinner. Hasn't fallen off yet - that was back in September.

You're going to have some fun testing this later on I bet.

Rhodies test results are very good.

Ah you just explained it - I was following your instruction and guess what I have where that grommet is - yes you got it a clutch pedal!!! Ha ha so funny

Anyhow through the bonnet cable is fine and there is plenty of cable to allow it to sit on the left of the steering wheel

I didn't have remote - sent it to Ron and it was £42 inc postage back he upgraded and supplied switch - well worth it.

Don't know where I got my £60 from!

So you was charged £20 for 3 way switch, £15 for the rechip, and postage £6.50. Giving a total of £41.50

Was it a quick turnaround?

Yes less than a week. I suspect it depends in what day you send it.

mail him, mention landyzone and he'll do the upgrade and the switch posted back all for £40 I sorted this out with him last week.....
