hi guys got the leg off easy enough cant see any damage to the bag seems to hold air if i put my finger over the air conection point but the car weight would be emense to the pressure i can put on it maybe its a seal. the new leg should arrive tuesday hopfully

Unwise.....

The airbag shouldn't filled off the car, the way it is designed is the act of it being restrained top and tail keeps the air bag in place, inflating without such restraint could be dangerous.

If you are to do that, use only a a couple of tens of PSI - certainly don't use the system pressue of 150-180psi....

Of course not a lot of pressure
Just enough to see where the bag is leaking from

i have no compressor hopefully the new strut will cure the problem

new strut fitted all cured fingers crossed. that was the easiest job the old one taken off in 35 mins and the new one fitted wheel on and tested in 35 mins surley i cant be that lucky!!!!!!!!!
