Aye, plus it would be a pretty fun project to undertake. I bet it would also be cheaper to source all those 90/Defender parts for it than to try and rebuild it from scratch with genuine series parts.
 
just a couple of knackered landys bastardised together to make a weekend plaything. fact that its tax exempt is a bonus. well thats what id do if i had the room for one

ohh ye it would be alot cheaper but i reckon the series 2 is the best looking landy ever made:D why mash it into a defender:p just buy a defender;)

Agreed on that -- before the headlights was moved to the wings, peeeeerrrfect ;) Mind you, I think that a defender can be a very handsome brute if it's kitted out nicely, like the 'Tomb Raider' double cabs for example, they look fookin ace!

ye i saw one the other day it was in show room condition i had to park next to it :D mine looked like tonka toy compared to all the kit on them:p
 
yer the series 2 was the best , no plastic ****, looked mint, :) lights in the front pan not the wings tho, and the proper grill ,

Yeah it's the classic sort of farmers land rover, you still see some farmer types round here that use them, one of the local ones drives a really tatty well used one around wearing a flat cap, pipe in his mouth and a sheepdog sat in the passenger seat, can't help grinning every time I see it chug past! :D
