ok, the fuel pipe is 8mm, thats fine, but the fuel sender unit has two pipes, 1x feed 1x return. are these 1/4" BSP? does anyone have a definate answer? even landrover UK wont tell me? bar stewards

the fuel pipe fittings are on odd thread, definitely not bsp.
i replaced all my steel pipes with rubber hose, and terminated the hose with hose tails that i think were at 3/8 bsp but these were to join to some male-male adaptors, the other end of which i do not know the thread of.
not a common thread though otherwise the hydraulics shop i went to which had racks of fittings up to the ceiling would have had the hose tails in a direct fit thread.
