Sunroof removal

Hate it hate it hate it- it has to go!!!!
Maybe not today but eventually!!!!

Replace whole roof or can just the front sloping section be changed by drilling out the rivets and re doing with a new section??????

I think it would be just as practical to replace your roof.

Don't know if it's possible to change just the front part, I think its more a matter of were you're going to get just that bit.

Much easier to swap the complete roof over and sell the old one.

Was thinking that a replacement roof with out a sunroof for a 110 would most likely be from a panel van and not have the alpine windows.
Yes I thought it might be difficult to get just the front section but I could look at 90's then to remove the front panel.

I had to silicone it shut to stop it leaking. Just needs a new seal I believe.
It's the original fitment I think. It has Land rover on the wheel thing!!

110 roofs with only alpine lights are available. Just a matter of finding one.

I had a sunroof fitted on the flat part of my 110. It was used used for hunting. It also leaked so i removed the frame and tiger sealed and popped a square of galvenised steel over the hole. primed and painted, you wouldnt know it was there. Also had to reinstate the structural bar that was cut through running down the middle.
