Sunroof leak

hi I know this topic has been covered numerous times. I've had a leak on my disco 2 sunroof for some while now but with work commitments and other issues getting it back on the road I was in Tesco the other day and saw gorilla clear waterproof tape, got me thinking could this be used as a temporary fix I've resealed my other two disco's before the last one 300 tdi taking out headlining and sunroofs completely which worked just wondered what your thoughts are thanks

I also had nice refreshing showers going to work and living in South Wales made that a regular occurrence. In the end I had to choose between a sealant gun or getting it repaired. I had to go abroad (Bristol) but 2 sunroofs for £350 at the time was great. It took them all day but has been watertight ever since

Indeed mine is sealed with Gorilla tape. Works ok for a bit. Done 6 months on latest application

Where do you put it?

Just simply around the existing seals on the outside?
