So I know that leaking sunroofs are a problem, I have a 2000 Freelander.
The previous owner removed the fuse and attempted to glob it all up with silicone on the top of the glass/seal. This worked for a little while since I've had it until I noticed my headliner was getting very wet.
Long story short, it wasn't sealed. The near side front drain tube nipple has actually rusted off and the frame around it is wafer thin rusted steel. I've pumped it full of more silicone in an attempt to stop the rain getting in but I think I would like to replace the frame of the sunroof so I can actually use it. The roof is fine, it's just the frame (number 7?)
Is it possible to get new ones? Or should I start getting creative?
Thanks
