Sump

OK tonight's dumb question...but if you don't ask, you are left wonderin....

Does the TD (19j) sump fit the 200tdi lump? (Read somewhere that the bottom end of lump wasn't altered much when LR introduced the 200).

I would guess because he has hit a 200tdi sump on a rock/ground and has a 19J lying around????

I should be so lucky! No...just taken 200tdi out of donor disco and found that there is a slightly dodgy liquid-metal repair job been done...and as I still have the complete/pristeen sump off my old 19j...I was wondering if worth swpping them over...or if I need to source a new 200 one. Then I will see about smashing off rocks/ground etc

Best thing to do mate if your swapping it anyway is to take them both off and see if it fits...... if it does your laughin and if it dunt you know you have to buy a 200tdi sump.

Aye,,,but both parts are 6 miles away, in a frozen, snowy yard...and I am at home, all toasty and warm....with internet access for sourcing sump IF I need one....
