I picked up the ExMOD 90 with a 2.5L NA diesel from the soda blaster and it wouldn't start. We push started it and drove it home.
What's Working:
Horn
Defrost blower
Headlights and Front Markers
Flashers
Glow plug indicator (Not sure if the glow plugs are heating)
Shut off valve

Whats Not Working:
Starter
Turn signals
Brake lights
Rear fog lamps

Any guesses before I start tearing things apart.

Be methodical - start back and make sure you have power to the bits that need it with a voltmeter.

Check the starter by using a jumper lead to connect the solenoid to +12 volts - I suspect what you;re going to find is that the starter itself is not knackered but that the +12 supply through from the key to kick it over is not making the trip.

Did the blaster do anything inside or under the vehicle that might have messed with the wiring harness? i'm looking at a schematic of the truck now and it seems to me that many of your problems might be traced back to the starter main lug - the +12 connection at the starter is used as a distribution point for +12 to many parts of the old boy's electrical system. If the nut on the lug looseened up that might cause things to stop working suddenly.

Got the starter working, cleaned up the ignition switch and the relay so at least it moves. I still have no brake lights or turn indicators if anybody has an idea where to start.
I tested the switch on the top of the master cylinder for voltage. Zero on either side, shouldn't one of the sides have 12v?

Silly question but is the NATO switch in the correct position and functioning as it should?
Yes it is but thank you for throwing that out. I'm going to try swapping out the relay first. If that doesn't work I'll break out the multimeter. Looking at the schematics the switched hot goes from the starter relay to the brake relay.
Any other ideas, please don't be shy!
