Sudden death?

Went to start my V8 Disco (2000). All the lights on the dash came on, and went off, as normal. When I turned the key to start the engine, everything went off, the whole dash, including displays, completely dead.

We were on our way to a funeral, so jumped in the wifes car and gone, didn't look at it at all.

Guessing at at a fuse issue? I shall check the battery terminals and so on in the morning, but they have been fine, I have been using the Disco quite a bit the last few days.

Any suggestions?

Obviously not something that happens all the time then!

I shall get on and have a look at it later in the morning.

Just a battery terminal come loose, tightened it and everything came back. Relieved it wasn't electronic issues!

Was going to suggest battery connections or earth lead integrity,but only know diesels and v8's seem to have their own foibles-glad ur sorted
