Strange goings on

This is a puzzler
In the morning I start the car up put my seatbelt on and set off to work
But when I first let out the clutch and get going the car rolls along (throttle is just under half way to the floor) for about 50 yards then jumps into life then it's all good for the rest of the day until 5pm when I have to go home and the same happens
Any ideas

unplug the MAF and see then...do you nstill have EGR?

Yes still have the EGR it was replaced just before I got the car from the main land rover stealer about 8 months ago while it was getting serviced

auto or manual?(i have the feeling it's auto)

Ah ha nope it's a manual

then IMO the problem might come from there...see what bhappens with unplugged MAF
