never heard of this conversion before Mitsubishi 2.8 in a p38

how the heck do they do it its bad enough with a BMW engine getting it to talk to the computer without falling out

RANGE ROVER P38 2.8TD MITSHUBISHI COVERSION | eBay

Easy, you leave the P38 engine ECU in situe to keep the BECM happy and operate the Mitsi engine in isolation.

ahhh i see but how do you get the 4x4 system to work coss wouldnt have thought the engine would work with the gearbox/transfer box sorry for all the question but its been a long night and enquiring minds need to know

No effect on the gearbox or transfer box, just a bit of engineering to mate the bell housing and torque convertor to the engine.
