It's actually pretty easy on the p38 I'm putting the same engine in the new racer (disco)
Use the x5 engine rangy p38 manual flywheel, clutch n bellhousing then the disco r380 upgraded to take the torque (well for what I'm doing) then you can buy the loom to run it on the x5 or the rangy ecu from rally raid at cleckhuddersfax for circa 400 sheets and your off
