Can anyone help?

I've just been on the phone to Land Rover customer services who have confirmed there's nothing out there to stop my lovely brand new headlights being stolen again. They have said to me that they have no records of headlights being regularly stolen from Discovery's or they would have issued a technical update to prevent it occuring!! I'd like to send them as much info on this happening but don't really know where to start. It has really P****D me off that i can shell out on new lights but have no way of preventing it happneing again.

All assistance would be much appreciated.

Second that on the e mail addy....can the mods nix it if the member doesnt ?

On subject , I met a lad from south yorks last year , he was driving a defender and gave me a lift , he was working security at the big Game Fair . Obviously we got talking landys and he told me he had given up on discos altogether as the parts were always getting stolen , and when he said always , he told me he meant daily . Really . Worse still , he was getting rid of his deepender because when he went out in it he was followed home by carfulls of young males . So much so that rival gangs were getting into fights over who followed the said landy home .

This bloke was no easy mark and a bit tasty too , not afraid of a bit of the old ultraviolence either but he said it was getting dangerous for his young family - people were getting hurt when they tried to stop the thefts . Apparently these guys were brutal and fully committed , this is organised crime and well known about . The gangs were well equipped to take out all security measures and locks , barrier posts etc .

Now , I took all this with a large pinch of salt ....but it seems there is truth to it . So....please be careful if you decide to go confront these toerags . They have no self respect and hence none for anyone else , they have nothing to lose and you have everything . Yes , I know things need to be done and that if the police wont.....well , just be careful . And dont give your personal details out on an open website .
