stiff clutch pedal

what can i do to make it easier to use.

Oil it.
Go to the gym and strengthen the leg
Man up

Fitted a red booster clutch servo to my 110 200tdi and its as light as a feather like driving a car, there not cheap about £375 there's a link here if your interested http://www.fcx.co.uk/redbooster .

Alternatively, if you don't have it, you'll need the later clutch pedal (the arm is flat bar instead of the U shaped channel). Use this later pedal along with the later over centre spring which fits on the pedal (not the coil spring which attaches to a bolt on the pedal box). This later spring assists with pedal depression as well as return.

Try lubricating the little bushes in the pedal box for starters.

If not, get a later pedal, like they say. Or even better get a vehicle with autobox.
