Im going to remove the County stickers from the side of my 1996 90, how bads the paint fade going to be?

I am thinking of doing the same on my BT grey 110.... mine comes in 5 parts due to doors and fuel filler... I am thinking of just taking a small one off first and see how much paint fade I have. I think I saw replacements for £35 but cant recall where.
I am getting a new rear door sprayed in the same colour and when I asked about paint fade I was told it would be noticable. Maybe best leaving well alone unless you/me want a respray.

when i removed me county stickers all the paint came orf the doors aswell

took mine off last year 1987 county,,,heated them up with a hairdryer then peeled away ..slow job,,and the sticky gunk was a pain to get off too,,paint fade was also quite bad ,,well it iz 23 years old lol...

i found hair dryer to be the best way to get em off and a quick pull with the stanley knife to get something to hold..off ya go!
lamp torch is better if you have one though!

I heat gunned the stripes of my elise when I get that and it wasnt to bad a result but that was a never vehicle.
Bright orange looks good, you've got me thinking now coz that looks mad, and I like something a bit different!

Heat gun works the best but a hairdryer works ok. careful use of thinners should remove the 'gunk' if any is left on and if you took the time and did the whole landy with t-cut or something similar to make the old paintwork look newer then the fading would be less noticable. Harry
