Stick belts...

Does anyone else suffer from what I'm going to name "sticky belt syndrome" ? This is when you get in your lovely p38 and have to sit for ages gently teasing your seat belt out. I've been nice with it and pulled softly whispering things like I'll give you a polish or I'll buy you a new air freshener but it doesn't budge! then other times it's fine and will come out freely as if it wants to be clipped in. Any advice? Or is this some sort of preventative safety device? By that I mean you get so annoyed trying to put the damn set belt on you just walk...?

Check that the reel inside the B pillar is vertical and not loose. If it's not vertical then it locks up. OK unlikely that it's come loose but you're going to have to go in there to repair or replace it so you might as well have a look now.

Cheep enough on ebay but be careful cos they changed them around 98 for a different shape buckle
