Recently acquired FL2 2014. on rounding roundabouts steering was very jittery, discovered good tread but mixed tyres on front axel. Replaced with matched pair and moved existing front tyres to rear. Problem has 90% gone away except rounding roundabouts the steering feels a little lumpy as the PAS seems to pulse.
Should I replace mixed tyres on the rear or is the pump valve playing up. Help appreciated

It's difficult to determine exactly what will be wrong without driving the vehicle.
However there are some things worth checking yourself.
If the mileage is approaching 100k, then it could be the PS reservoir filter is beginning to clog.
I like to replace the PS reservoir and do a fluid change at 100k as a precaution.

Also check the front wishbone rear bush for softness, use a pry bar to apply plenty of pressure to the bush, as they are known to fail, and have a large influence on the steering.

Thanks Nodge68, I'll take on both points
