I think it has adjusters both sides, surly the steering wheel position is just cosmetic?
Is there anyway I could check this Steve ?
I searched but couldn't find anything regarding calibration . Interestingly I've just been looking at the live data from the steering angle sensor on full left lock I have 13500 units and on full right lock 14700 units not sure if this is of any significance though![]()

Accurate four wheel alignment explained
Wheel alignment is not a simple process – it is more complicated than making sure your wheels point in the right direction. Wheel alignment involves not only toe (how parallel your wheels are) but also camber (how vertical your wheels are) and a multitude of other measurements. It gets more complicated with the ride height of all air suspension vehicles needing to be locked at a specific height (using IDS) and by the fact that every angle affects each other. got this from a dealers site
on live data whats the angle sensor reading when the actual steering wheel is in your judgment in the straight ahead position, you would preferably need to check readings on turnplates for accuracy but a cheap diy would be to drive on 2 x biscuit/roses tin lids (upside down)![]()
So the tracking has been done with the rack off centre.Well at a stationary position to get a zero reading my steering wheel is at about 11.50 on a clock face
+1so the tracking has been done with the rack off centre.
With all the ridiculous electrickery, I guess it must be possible. It would seem that way but is it possible for the rack to try centre it's self ? Causing the pull?
