Steering pulling to the left

I think it has adjusters both sides, surly the steering wheel position is just cosmetic?

As I explained you could track the car straight even though there's a few degrees of lock on, then to disguise your stupidity you could refit the steering wheel straight. The wheels and steering wheel are pointing straight but the rack is off centre and wants to self centre.

I searched but couldn't find anything regarding calibration . Interestingly I've just been looking at the live data from the steering angle sensor on full left lock I have 13500 units and on full right lock 14700 units not sure if this is of any significance though :)

Well as you're not getting any error messages the calibration is probably fine.

It's calibrated by starting the engine and within 20 seconds turning the steering all the way to the right, then all the way to the left - then back to centre.

one thing you have had your tracking done? but my in experience there is not many garages that can cope with twenty inch wheels the equipment does not fit properly might be worth confirming? i .tried 5 places before i could get mine done.

I had it done at Bush so you would think a company like that would have the expertise to do it right? I might try somewhere else as well. Just one thought someone might be able to answer . When they do the tracking do they first centralise the steering wheel and assume this centres the rack? I mean would it make a differance if the steering wheel had been put on off centre?

yes they do centralize and fix in place with a prop? but its all about front and back in the same plane and angles, toe in or out. if its out there's ware or damage so when adjusted the wheel may not be central also the ride height could make a difference?

Does that mean the rack isn't necessarily central? Would it try to centre it's self when driven no hands on on wheel and therefore steer it's self offline? If you get my drift

Accurate four wheel alignment explained
Wheel alignment is not a simple process – it is more complicated than making sure your wheels point in the right direction. Wheel alignment involves not only toe (how parallel your wheels are) but also camber (how vertical your wheels are) and a multitude of other measurements. It gets more complicated with the ride height of all air suspension vehicles needing to be locked at a specific height (using IDS) and by the fact that every angle affects each other. got this from a dealers site

on live data whats the angle sensor reading when the actual steering wheel is in your judgment in the straight ahead position, you would preferably need to check readings on turnplates for accuracy but a cheap diy would be to drive on 2 x biscuit/roses tin lids (upside down);)

+1 also you also need to weight load the vehicle, with a l322 its pretty common for the back to be out due to the amount of bushes what fail so a simple line the fronts with the back straight ahead is not going to work

Well at a stationary position to get a zero reading my steering wheel is at about 11.50 on a clock face
