Hi guys, my 2003 l322 has developed quite a pull to the left . It has new upper and lower suspension arms, so bushes and ball joints are good. So I presumed it was the tracking. However I've been and had the tracking done at Bush but it wasn't far out but they did it anyway only to find it didn't make any differance to the pull. The guy seemed to think it was a faulty steering angle sensor? But surely the sensor can't physically turn the steering left ? Any input would be greatly appreciated

I'm pretty sure it's not a binding brake , there's no heat in the disc after a drive . If I let go of the steering wheel the turn isn't smooth it kind of jerks in 10 degree increments

Daft question but it is actually PULLING to the left? Back in the day when I had a car site with my brother an angry customer kept complaining about his car (purchased from us) pulling to the left. I test drove it several times and found nothing wrong with it - angry customer threatened to get his "bros" down, burn the site and stab me! I got in the passenger side and said demonstrate the problem to me - he then proceeded to drive off with the steering wheel held at exactly 12 O'clock and the car steering slightly to the left. Yes, you guessed it, the steering wheel was slightly off centre to the right...

Has the l322 got tracking adjusters on both sides? I wonder if the tracking has been set straight with the steering off centre then the steering wheel refitted straight. So the rack as actually off centre and is trying to centre. The poor old power steering pump would be working overtime.
