chaps..

Got the wiring loom out this evening,
Got the coupling removed on the steering column but now how do i remove it from the bulkhead?

The sterring lock has security bolts securing it to the shaft and the bottom bearing end is welded to the outer sheath....so it aint going anywhere without some drilling...

which bits do i drill to remove it?
Thanks

you have 2 options that i know of

1) try and tap them round with a punch or the like.

2) and the way i do them, 1mm cutting disk, to make a slot across the head and undo with a flat screw driver. it dosce meen you have a cut across the clamp but i fid it stll works fine.

if you feel you need them clap and new bolts are £5

It worked!
Filled top with wd40 overnight then today I got a pin punch and tapped each one undone-tight to break free but once you overcome the initial break out torque they unscrew with tip if finger :0)

Just clutch pedal to remove now!
